As Fortnite's Chapter 7 Season 3 concludes, players are urged to finalize their "Runners Sprite" collections before a new season introduces fresh content, including popular characters like Sonic. While 25 basic Sprites exist, numerous rare variants make collection challenging. The optimal strategy involves participating in specific Sprite Hour events to secure any missing Sprites.

To assist players in avoiding the fear of missing out (FOMO), Fortnite is hosting a significant Sprite Spree Week, featuring several Sprite Hour events. This initiative provides a final chance for players to acquire any undiscovered Sprites. Sprites collected during Season 3 will remain in players' inventories and be added to the Sprite Garden in the upcoming season. However, there's no assurance these Sprites will reappear on the Battle Royale island later, as many will be removed with the launch of Chapter 7 Season 4. Therefore, players should capitalize on Sprite Spree Week to secure all Sprite variants before their permanent departure.

Sprite Spree Week commences on Saturday, August 15, at 2 p.m. EDT, coinciding with the launch of the Unstable Event. Each day, a specific Sprite type will have an increased spawn rate on the map, beginning at 9 a.m. EDT. This schedule includes Mythic Sprites on Saturday, Galaxy Sprites on Sunday, Holofoil Sprites on Monday, Cube Sprites on Tuesday, and Gem Sprites on Wednesday, providing a structured approach for collectors.

During this event, several boosts will be active. Experience point (XP) gain will be amplified for equipped Sprites, facilitating their mastery. Additionally, Sprite Spree Quests will become available, offering players the chance to earn rare Sprites, such as the John Wick Sprite and the Gem Zero Point Sprite. Players will also receive extra Lucky Locators and gain the ability to resummon Sprites without expending Sprite Dust, enhancing their collecting efficiency and success.

In essence, Sprite Spree Week serves as a crucial period for Fortnite enthusiasts to complete their existing Sprite collections. By strategically engaging with the daily Sprite Hour events and utilizing the in-game boosts, players can ensure they retain these unique collectibles, preventing their loss as the game transitions into its next exciting chapter.
