The "Mountainside" concept emphasizes an elegant and luxurious aesthetic, featuring a unique Morning Dusk exterior color with subtle gold metallic flakes that evoke the glow of early morning light on mountain landscapes. It is fitted with 22-inch anodized black Vault wheels and 35-inch tires, designed for a sleek profile without a rear spare. The interior, known as the Alpine District, boasts semi-aniline leather, a gray woven fabric with a historic Scout plaid pattern, houndstooth headliner, and recycled walnut wood accents, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere suitable for family use. The production of the new Scout Traveler is slated to commence at the company's state-of-the-art facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Despite earlier speculation about potential delays, Scout Motors has reaffirmed its commitment to initiating production in 2027, with the first customer deliveries expected to follow in 2028. This timeline is crucial for the brand's re-establishment in the competitive SUV market.
