As reported by Vooks, the Virtual Boy cardboard model is now available at a reduced price on the My Nintendo Store in Australia and New Zealand. The price has been lowered from $29.95 AUD to $19.95 AUD, with this offer valid until August 17, 2026. Similarly, Japanese customers can purchase the same cardboard unit for 1,980 yen, down from 2,980 yen, also until August 17. Beyond this cardboard rendition, Nintendo also provides a specialized accessory designed to replicate the original Virtual Boy hardware's distinct appearance. Players can experience Virtual Boy games on the Switch or Switch 2 without a headset, or by utilizing their existing Labo VR Goggles, provided they maintain an active Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.
