NBC is preparing to launch a special celebrity version of its highly successful singing competition, "The Voice." This groundbreaking edition, titled "The Voice: Celebrity Edition," is scheduled to premiere in 2027 and will feature a star-studded lineup. Keke Palmer has been selected as the host, bringing her dynamic presence to the stage, while musical talents Joe Jonas, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green are confirmed to serve as coaches, guiding the celebrity contestants through their musical journeys.

This upcoming season marks a significant evolution for the global franchise, as it will be the first time "The Voice" anywhere in the world has exclusively featured celebrities. Unlike previous seasons where stars made brief, humorous appearances, this iteration will see a diverse array of famous personalities—including actors, musicians, social media influencers, athletes, comedians, and reality television stars—competing for the coveted title of the first "Voice" celebrity champion. The show will also introduce new and engaging segments to enhance the viewer experience, such as "Voice Boot Camp," where cameras will follow celebrities during their rigorous preparation for blind auditions, and the "VIP Room," providing a behind-the-scenes look as artists observe their peers on stage. Additionally, the "Workroom" will offer an intimate glimpse into the celebrities' strategic planning, rehearsals, and battle preparations.

The production of "The Voice: Celebrity" is a collaborative effort involving MGM Alternative, a division of Amazon MGM Studios, Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, and ITV Studios The Voice USA, Inc. The show's creator, John de Mol, is an executive producer alongside Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson, Adam H. Sher, and Barry Poznick, with Carson Daly also contributing as a producer for this celebrity season. This star-studded adaptation promises to offer a unique blend of competitive spirit and entertainment, showcasing familiar faces in a new and exciting light, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among performers while delivering high-quality entertainment to audiences worldwide.
