Gotham Week 2026 has officially released its complete programming schedule, promising an engaging array of cinematic and television creations.

Central to this year's event is the annual Project Market, recognized as the United States' most established and extensive curated platform for film and TV professionals. It will serve as a dynamic forum for meetings, featuring 80 narrative and documentary projects currently in development. Among the distinguished participants in the Project Market are features from Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs, known for her work in 'Reservation Dogs,' and 'The Curse of Silver,' produced by Liz Cardenas, which is set to star Lily Gladstone. The documentary section will highlight executive productions from figures such as Geeta Gandbhir, Katie Couric, Julianna Margulies, and Rachel Maddow. The Project Market also includes a segment dedicated to adapting short films into features, with involvement from notable personalities like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sam Rockwell, and Bob Odenkirk. Furthermore, a Global Producers Hub will foster international collaborations with partners including NFVF South Africa, Telefilm Canada, EAVE, French in Motion, and the Red Sea International Film Festival, alongside projects originating from Cannes and Rotterdam programs.

Beyond the core Project Market, the 2026 Gotham Week will host additional events designed to enrich the experience for attendees. These include the Gotham Week Honors, a day of in-depth conversations with artists and industry leaders organized by 'Filmmaker Magazine.' The Gotham Edu community will have unique opportunities, such as screenings of award-winning short films from previous years. The Gotham Week Expo will bring together various partners from the Gotham's expanding community initiatives, offering insights into relevant topics for film and media creators, providing resources for non-profit organizations, and facilitating networking between non-profit partners, educational institutions, and film commissions. This comprehensive event is scheduled to take place from September 27th to October 3rd, 2026.

Gotham Week stands as a pivotal event for nurturing talent and fostering innovation in the film and television industry. By bringing together diverse voices and groundbreaking projects, it not only propels individual careers forward but also enriches the global cinematic landscape, promoting a future where creativity and collaboration thrive.
