Cinespia Celebrates 25 Years with Iconic Film Screenings at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Cinespia, the renowned outdoor movie event in Los Angeles, is commemorating its quarter-century milestone with an exciting schedule of screenings. This celebration, hosted at the iconic Hollywood Forever Cemetery, is presented in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video, featuring a selection of classic and cult-favorite films through August.

The lineup includes the enchanting film “Practical Magic” on August 1st, followed by the adventurous “The Mummy” (1999) on August 8th. Horror fans can look forward to a special Mia Goth double feature with “X” and “Pearl” on August 15th. The schedule also features the comedic masterpiece “Coming to America” on August 22nd, and a 40th-anniversary presentation of “Labyrinth” on August 29th. Cinespia founder John Wyatt emphasized the timeless appeal of these films, highlighting their continued relevance across generations and the unique communal experience offered by outdoor screenings.

Beyond the cinematic presentations, attendees can enjoy an array of engaging activities. Each event will feature lively DJ sets both before and after the films, a complimentary photo booth, and access to a wine bar and various concession stands. In a unique collaboration, Cinespia has partnered with See's Candies to offer an exclusive, specially branded candy box, honoring both organizations’ significant anniversaries. Additional screenings for the celebratory season are expected to be unveiled soon.

This quarter-century celebration underscores the enduring power of cinema to bring people together, fostering a shared appreciation for storytelling and communal experiences under the stars.
