Chloe Fineman and Other Stars Join Netflix's 'Myron Bolitar' Series
Chloe Fineman, renowned for her work on 'Saturday Night Live,' is embarking on a new venture by joining the cast of Netflix's upcoming 'Myron Bolitar' series. She will be a series regular, alongside Jabari Banks of 'Bel Air' fame and veteran actor Jamie McShane, known for his roles in 'Task' and 'Wednesday.' Additionally, Ben McKenzie, recognized from 'Everyone is Lying to You for Money' and 'Gotham,' is set to appear in a recurring guest capacity.
These new additions will complement the existing lead actors, Colin Woodell, KJ Apa, and Diane Guerrero, who were previously announced for the series. Netflix officially unveiled the project in May as part of its upfront presentation to advertisers, highlighting the network's continued investment in adaptations of popular literary works. The 'Myron Bolitar' series draws its inspiration from Harlan Coben's highly successful book collection, which includes a total of 12 published titles, promising a rich narrative foundation for the show.
The series centers on Myron Bolitar, portrayed by Colin Woodell. After a career-ending injury thwarts his aspirations in the NBA, Bolitar transitions into the demanding world of a sports agent. His new profession requires a blend of charisma, intellect, and the support of a shrewd partner. Behind the scenes, David E. Kelley and Kyle Long are the creative forces steering the project. They serve as both writers and showrunners, bringing their considerable experience to the adaptation. Both Kelley and Long are also executive producers, with Kelley overseeing the production through David E. Kelley Productions (DEKP). Matthew Tinker, also from DEKP, joins them as an executive producer, along with Harlan Coben himself, representing Final Twist Productions, and Rick Muirragui. Greg Yaitaines is on board as an executive producer and will be directing several episodes, ensuring a consistent vision for the series.
