A recent high-fashion editorial brought together a delightful cast of six canine models for a special feature showcasing pet apparel and accessories. From a rescue mix with a penchant for turkey to a poised Chihuahua and a cap-wearing mini Australian shepherd, each dog brought its unique charm and a touch of pampered celebrity to the set. The behind-the-scenes glimpses reveal a day filled with treats, stylish outfits, and endearing antics, highlighting the growing trend of luxury pet fashion.

The photoshoot, held at Condé Nast studio four, saw a flurry of activity, not unlike a human fashion spread, but with wagging tails and enthusiastic barks. Emmy, an 11-year-old rescue, was the first to arrive, making a grand entrance. Her primary request? A generous serving of sliced turkey from Wegmans, which she devoured with gusto. Despite her initial delay, Emmy gracefully modeled a striped Dogue x J.Crew sweater, exuding confidence as she posed on a Raja Doggo dog bed, embodying the chic aesthetic of the 'Dogue' collection.

Lázaro, affectionately known as Lachu, a five-year-old, tiny apple-head Chihuahua, proved to be a natural in front of the camera. He flawlessly executed his 'In the Bag' concept, appearing comfortably nestled within a Dogue x Alex Mill tote. His professional demeanor and serene expressions, even amidst the laughter of the human crew, underscored his dedication. Lachu's refined taste extended to his catering demands, opting for a refreshing bowl of berries as his preferred snack.

Petunia, a three-year-old mini Australian shepherd, earned the unofficial title of "chillest dog model." Unlike many dogs who might resist headwear, Petunia sported both green and blue Dogue caps with ease, complementing her red and white Dogue x J.Crew sweater. Her cooperative nature and willingness to accessorize demonstrated her natural aptitude for modeling, making her a standout performer on set.

Josie, a spirited rescue from New Orleans, brought a lively energy to the set, accompanied by a large entourage. Often mistaken for a deer due to her graceful movements, she effortlessly navigated obstacles. Adorned with an elegant Hermès collar, Josie radiated charm and paused only to enjoy her lunch from a Dogue x Henry Holland bowl.

Bean, a four-year-old Cavapoo, provided the first bark of the day, momentarily distracted by treats. After a minor wardrobe adjustment where a harness didn't quite fit, his owner proudly reminded him he was wearing Hermès, which seemed to satisfy him, though he still attempted a playful dash for freedom.

The final model, Cleo, a Maltese also known as Mandu, arrived discreetly in a carrier. Once on set, she quickly made herself at home, relaxing luxuriously on a gingham Zara pet bed. Her calm presence brought a peaceful close to a day filled with energetic dogs, showcasing a blend of high fashion and playful pet personalities.
