A physical version of the popular farming and life simulation game, Stardew Valley, has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. This special release follows the digital launch of the Switch 2 Edition last year, or earlier this year for European players, making the beloved title available in a tangible format for collectors and fans.

Fangamer is handling the distribution of this standard physical edition, which will retail for $39. It distinguishes itself by including a comprehensive 18-page instruction manual, richly illustrated in full color. This package contains the core game and its associated upgrade pack, pre-loaded with Version 1.6, ensuring players receive the latest content. Additionally, all subsequent updates will be provided free of charge, keeping the game experience current and enhanced.

Enthusiasts can now place their pre-orders for the physical Switch 2 edition directly through Fangamer's official website. While a Switch physical release is also available, the new Switch 2 edition is slated to begin shipping on February 5, 2027. For existing Stardew Valley players on the original Switch, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available as a complimentary update, allowing them to enjoy the enhancements without an additional purchase.
