Fans of the iconic animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars have reason to celebrate as the highly anticipated tactical game, Star Wars Zero Company, reveals its impressive voice cast. Developed by Bit Reactor and Lucasfilm Games, this new title promises to transport players back to the heart of the prequel era with a star-studded ensemble, including several familiar voices from the beloved animated universe.

Bit Reactor and Lucasfilm Games Reveal Voice Talent for Star Wars Zero Company at San Diego Comic-Con

In a thrilling announcement preceding their San Diego Comic-Con panel, "Bringing Star Wars Zero Company to Life," game developer Bit Reactor, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, unveiled the comprehensive voice cast for their forthcoming single-player, turn-based tactical game. Set against the tumultuous backdrop of the Clone Wars, Zero Company immerses players in a narrative led by Hawks, a former Galactic Republic officer. Hawks assembles a diverse group of mercenaries—including a clone trooper, a Mandalorian, and even a Jedi—to thwart the Infinite Coil, a Separatist-aligned cult commanded by Kundri Fathom, voiced by Rekha Sharma.

A highlight for long-time enthusiasts is the return of two distinguished voice actors from The Clone Wars. Matt Lanter reprises his role as Anakin Skywalker, a character he has consistently portrayed since the animated series' debut and in various other Star Wars productions, including Rebels, Tales of the Jedi, and several video games. Alongside him, Dee Bradley Baker lends his voice once again to the clone trooper Trick, continuing his extensive history of voicing nearly all clone troopers across the franchise's animated and gaming ventures, notably in The Bad Batch. This commitment to casting demonstrates Bit Reactor's dedication to an authentic portrayal of these cherished characters.

The announcement further detailed the full roster of both main and supporting cast members. The main ensemble features Jonathan Freeman and Erica Luttrell sharing the role of Captain Hawks, with JB Blanc as Kabb Uppercut, Judy Alice Lee as Jae Mordant, Nicole Rainteau as Tel-Rea 'Tel' Vokoss, Alex McKenna as Cly Kullervo, and Jason Spisak as Luco Bronc. The extensive supporting cast includes Leo Howard as Bennic Halloren, Vic Michaelis as Runa Blask, Jim Pirri as Neesh Renark, DC Douglas as M-3VO, Kevin Michael Richardson as Gorga, Hunter Smith as Typhon, and Dylan Kenin as Visser. Fans eager for more details can attend the San Diego Comic-Con panel, where Dee Bradley Baker, Jonathan Freeman, Vic Michaelis, and Rekha Sharma will join Bit Reactor's narrative and cinematic director Aaron Contreras and Lucasfilm Games creative executive Kelsey Sharpe to discuss the game.

Star Wars Zero Company is slated for release on August 27th, priced at $49.99 for Windows PC and $59.99 for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The reveal of Star Wars Zero Company's cast underscores a growing trend in the gaming industry: the recognition and celebration of talented voice actors. This strategic move by Bit Reactor and Lucasfilm Games not only honors the rich legacy of The Clone Wars but also deepens the immersion for players by integrating familiar voices with new narratives. It highlights the critical role that voice acting plays in bringing beloved fictional universes to life, ensuring that fans receive an experience that is both authentic and emotionally resonant.
