Star-Studded Cast Returns for 'Oh, Mary!' West End Run
The acclaimed theatrical production 'Oh, Mary!' is making a grand return to the West End, gathering its original principal performers for a special limited engagement. Cole Escola, the playwright and leading actor, will once again embody Mary Todd Lincoln at the Trafalgar Theatre in London. Joining Escola are Giles Terera, returning as Mary's Husband, and Michael Urie, reprising his role as Mary's Teacher.
This revival sees the return of several key cast members who originated their roles. Giles Terera, an Olivier Award nominee, first played Mary's Husband on the West End, while Michael Urie, fresh from his second Emmy nomination for 'Shrinking,' previously portrayed Mary's Teacher on Broadway. Bianca Leigh and Tony Macht are also set to rejoin the cast as Mary's Chaperone and Mary's Husband's Assistant, respectively. The production has further announced an extended cast list through September 26, including Scott Karim as Mary's Husband, Dino Fetscher as Mary's Teacher, Kate O'Donnell as Mary's Chaperone, and Oliver Stockley as Mary's Husband's Assistant, with Jinkx Monsoon returning as Mary Todd Lincoln later in the run.
Under the direction of Sam Pinkleton and produced by Kevin McCollum, Lucas McMahon, Mike Lavoie, and Carlee Brigli, 'Oh, Mary!' has already extended its London run due to popular demand, now scheduled through January 2.
