Prior to her current endeavors, Tung held a significant position as Vice President of Unscripted Content at Paramount. Her notable achievements include developing and serving as showrunner and executive producer for the inaugural season of Hulu's acclaimed reality series, "Love They Nader." This popular show, chronicling model Brooks Nader and her sisters' journey into the modeling world in New York, premiered in August 2025 and was subsequently renewed for a second season, after which Tung transitioned from her showrunner duties.

Tung also held the showrunner and executive producer roles for the second installment of the critically praised food and travel docuseries, "Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi." Diverse Portfolio: From Culinary Competitions to True Crime Dramas

Tung's extensive production credits span a wide array of successful programs, including the enduring culinary competition "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares." The latter, initially airing for seven seasons between 2007 and 2014, saw a revival by Fox in 2023 for additional seasons. She also contributed to MTV's "Deliciousness," a spin-off of "Ridiculousness," which ran for three seasons. Expanding her versatile career, Tung ventured into the true crime genre, co-creating "Homicide Hunter" for Investigation Discovery. This series, launched in 2011, ran for nine seasons, establishing itself as one of ID's longest-running franchises and spawning a spin-off, "Homicide Hunter: American Detective."
