Pokémon TCG Pocket Unleashes 'Ruler of the Skies' Expansion with Mega Evolutions and New Features

The Pokémon Company has revealed the latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, titled 'Ruler of the Skies,' which is set to arrive this July. This highly anticipated update introduces a selection of impressive new cards, with Mega Rayquaza ex taking center stage. Fans can also look forward to the visually striking Mega Gallade ex and Mega Metagross ex cards, adding significant power and aesthetic appeal to the game.

Beyond the new cards, 'Ruler of the Skies' brings several exciting game enhancements. Players will now have the ability to share their custom decks effortlessly through 2D pattern codes. A notable new feature guarantees a four-diamond card or higher in subsequent booster packs once specific, undisclosed conditions are met. Furthermore, obtaining a card that appears in multiple booster packs will now automatically register it across all relevant sets, streamlining collection management.

To further engage players, the expansion will introduce new missions and events. From late July through October, 'elite deck gift missions' will be available, offering players the chance to acquire a Fighting-type deck featuring Mega Lucario ex and Hitmonchan ex. Early August will host 'Ruler of the Skies Emblem Events,' where players can compete against each other to demonstrate their strategic skills and earn rewards.
