This particular mid-size truck, finished in a striking Afterburn Orange, is powered by Nissan's naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V-6 engine, delivering a substantial 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. The comprehensive customization is a collaborative effort involving nearly 30 companies, including prominent names like ARB, Borla, Fox, and Nokian. Notable additions include advanced lighting solutions from Diode Dynamics, NISMO Off-Road rock sliders for enhanced protection, durable Pelican cases for storage, and a convenient bed-mounted pop-up tent, all supported by robust Black Rhino wheels. The complete build, promising an impressive fusion of power and utility, will be officially unveiled at the Overland Expo West event in Flagstaff, Arizona, running from May 15 to 17.
This year's custom Nissan Frontier continues a tradition of excellence, following in the tire tracks of past Ultimate Builds. For instance, the inaugural project featured a 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road, meticulously outfitted with a KC LED lightbar, rugged 33-inch Firestone Destination M/T2 tires, and a roof tent, even accommodating an e-bike at the rear.
