This new production serves as a follow-up to the popular NBC sitcom that aired from 1987 to 1993, which itself was a spin-off from "The Cosby Show." It features the return of Jasmine Guy and Kadeem Hardison, stepping back into their iconic roles as Whitley Gilbert and Dwayne Wayne. They are joined by Maleah Joi Moon, who portrays their youngest daughter, Deborah, as she embarks on her inaugural year of college life.
