Morgan, in collaboration with the renowned design house Pininfarina, has once again captured the automotive world's attention with the introduction of the Midsummer Coupe. This new offering transforms the previously launched Midsummer roadster into a highly exclusive fixed-roof variant, showcasing a blend of classic aesthetics and contemporary engineering. With only nine units slated for production, the coupe promises an even greater level of exclusivity than its open-top counterpart.
The transition from roadster to coupe involved more than simply adding a roof. Morgan engineers implemented a distinctive glass canopy, elegantly divided by a central spine that seamlessly extends across the vehicle's length. This design not only enhances the car's visual appeal but also allows for a light-filled cabin environment. Despite its fixed roof, the coupe's weight increase is minimal, just 2.5 percent heavier than a Supersport equipped with an optional hardtop.
