Micron Executive Warns of Prolonged Memory Shortage Amidst AI Boom
The global memory market is currently experiencing a significant supply shortage, a situation further intensified by the escalating demands of artificial intelligence. He stressed that these advanced manufacturing sites take a substantial amount of time to become operational and even longer to reach full production capacity. Due to these inherent challenges, Sadana admitted that there is no clear timeline for when the supply of memory modules will finally catch up with the burgeoning demand.
