Embark on an epic journey through the newly expanded world of Arc Raiders with the 'Exploring Pendola Pass' quest. This initial mission, part of the "Frozen Trail" update, serves as a comprehensive tour of the map's most critical locations. Players are tasked by Celeste to visit three distinct points of interest and eliminate a total of 20 Arc adversaries. While challenging, this quest can be completed incrementally, allowing players to multitask with other ongoing missions like 'Clean Hands' and 'Sizing Things Up'.

Your Guide to Conquering the "Exploring Pendola Pass" Quest in Arc Raiders

The 'Exploring Pendola Pass' quest in Arc Raiders presents four key objectives that can be tackled in any sequence. Firstly, players must defeat 20 Arc enemies, a task best approached with long-range weapons such as the Anvil or Renegade to dispatch Wasps, Hornets, and Fireflies from a safe distance, while avoiding the formidable new Bully enemy. Secondly, power must be restored to the control room within the Cielo Sereno Observatory. Thirdly, a wire connection needs to be established with the antenna atop the tallest tower in the Railyard. Lastly, three containers within the Commissary Supermarket require thorough investigation. For the Railyard objective, ensure you are equipped with a wire, and for both the Railyard and Observatory tasks, a mobility tool like a grappling hook, snaphook, or zipline (three of which are provided upon accepting the quest) is highly recommended.

To locate the control room at the Cielo Sereno Observatory, head to the northeast section of Pendola Pass. The quickest entry is via the roof using a mobility gadget, though stairs provide an alternative. Once inside, the south-facing control room on the western side of the building awaits. Interact with the 'inspect the tech' prompt, but be aware that completing this action mid-combat can result in a temporary electric shock.

The Railyard objective requires a wire, so come prepared. Journey to the southeastern part of the Railyard, where a towering structure stands east of the Railyard's namesake and south of the Controlled Receiving Facility. Ascend to the apex of this tower using a mobility tool. Upon reaching the summit, interact with the prompt to connect the wire to the antenna, which will consume your wire and signal completion with a series of beeps.

Finally, navigate to the Commissary Supermarket, situated centrally in Pendola Pass. Your mission here is to search three containers. This task can be deferred until last, offering the convenience of a nearby ballistic gondola for a safe extraction. Upon successful completion of all objectives, return to Celeste in Speranza to claim your rewards: 5,000 XP, a stunning snow globe, a medium shield, and an Osprey I.

This quest, while seemingly straightforward, effectively teaches new players the layout of Pendola Pass and encourages strategic use of equipment and combat tactics. It emphasizes the importance of preparedness, both in terms of weaponry and utility items, laying a solid foundation for future challenges within Arc Raiders. The tiered rewards provide a gratifying sense of accomplishment and equip players for more arduous expeditions ahead, proving that even introductory missions can be deeply engaging and strategically rich.
