A challenging mission within the world of Arc Raiders, known as "Empathetic Prototypes," has become significantly more complex for players following the recent "Frozen Trail" update. This quest requires players to find androids for Lance, all while navigating the Spaceport map in a single playthrough. Success hinges on either possessing a hard-to-find key or demonstrating exceptional agility to bypass obstacles.

Successfully completing this quest involves several critical steps, starting with reaching the Trench Towers in the Spaceport Trench. From there, players face a pivotal choice: either locate a terminal to remotely disable a magnetic lock or manually override the lock on a suspended crate. The terminal option is simplified if players have the Spaceport Trench Tower key, allowing direct access to the control panel in the South Trench Tower. Without the key, the alternative demands a zipline and grappling hook to scale the North Trench Tower's cargo crate, precisely aiming the zipline to land atop it, and then performing a manual override to release the crate. Once the crate is accessible, players must retrieve the Project Pathos Empathy Core and deliver it to Lance, who rewards them with experience points, a Canto SMG, and stim shots.

This quest exemplifies the importance of adaptability and strategic planning in Arc Raiders. Overcoming such obstacles, whether through diligent searching for rare items or by mastering movement mechanics, reinforces the sense of accomplishment and encourages players to continuously refine their skills. The journey to complete these objectives not only deepens engagement with the game's narrative but also fosters a rewarding experience through problem-solving and perseverance.
