Maserati's 2027 Lineup: A Comprehensive Refresh Across All Models
Maserati is undertaking a substantial overhaul of its complete vehicle portfolio for 2027, with the Grecale SUV, GranTurismo coupe, and GranCabrio convertible all receiving major revisions. This extensive update encompasses new exterior styling, particularly for the front fascias, alongside refined interior appointments and several performance improvements tailored to each model.
The GranTurismo, Maserati’s iconic grand tourer, will feature an upgraded version of its 3.0-liter Nettuno twin-turbo V6 engine, now delivering up to 582 horsepower in the Trofeo variant. This enables the GranTurismo to accelerate to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds and achieve a top speed approaching 200 mph. The vehicle retains its all-wheel-drive system and adaptive air suspension, with enhanced driving dynamics designed for both comfortable cruising and aggressive track performance. Visually, the GranTurismo sports subtle aerodynamic refinements to its front end, modernized rear lighting, new wheel options, and an elevated cabin experience with an improved digital interface, a redesigned, motorsport-inspired steering wheel, and updated physical controls with haptic feedback. The GranCabrio mirrors these mechanical and design enhancements, with its V6 engine options mirroring the coupe. Notably, the GranCabrio Folgore, the electric convertible flagship, boasts a three-motor powertrain that generates an impressive 751 horsepower, paired with a 92.5-kilowatt-hour battery for exceptional performance and torque vectoring capabilities. Maserati has also focused on comfort for the GranCabrio, upgrading the fabric roof with better thermal and acoustic insulation, and making an Air Neck Warmer a standard feature on Trofeo and Folgore models.
The Grecale SUV receives one of the most comprehensive updates, highlighted by a new 390-horsepower 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 engine positioned between the existing mild-hybrid four-cylinder range and the high-performance Trofeo. The base inline-four engine has been discontinued. The Grecale Trofeo maintains its 530-horsepower output, achieving 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds, while the Folgore EV variant continues to offer approximately 360 miles of range (WLTP cycle). Design-wise, the Grecale’s front fascia is significantly restyled, taking inspiration from the GT2 Stradale with a new horizontal, lower-profile appearance, updated bumpers, revised grille treatments, and new side air intakes. New 20- and 21-inch wheel designs, Asteria and Crono, are introduced, along with an exclusive Grigio Lamiera paint option through Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program. The interior features a new octagonal-style steering wheel, available in perforated leather or Alcantara for the Trofeo, a digital clock with a mineral crystal dial, a head-up display, and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen.
