The wedding celebration of Morgan Yates and Jezzel Viray was a beautifully orchestrated affair, a testament to meticulous planning and a deep connection that blossomed from a chance encounter. Their journey, which began in 2021, culminated in a spectacular three-day event in Mallorca, filled with personalized touches, stunning fashion, and cherished moments shared with close friends and family. This narrative explores the evolution of their romance, from the initial spark to the grand culmination of their dream wedding weekend.

Morgan Yates and Jezzel Viray's love story began on February 5, 2021, at a friend's birthday gathering hosted by Morgan. Morgan was immediately captivated by Jezzel, recalling a playful attempt to prevent her from leaving and a late-night Instagram message that cemented their connection. Their first date followed a few weeks later. By May of the same year, during a trip to Scottsdale, Morgan initiated the conversation about their relationship becoming official, cleverly ensuring Jezzel would be the one to propose should their relationship progress. Jezzel, a tech professional, embraced this challenge, orchestrating a memorable proposal in September 2024 during a European tour that concluded in Mallorca. Despite Morgan's meticulous planning nature, Jezzel managed to surprise her at Belmond's La Residencia, a location significant to them from a previous visit. A sudden thunderstorm almost disrupted the cliffside proposal, but Jezzel, with the hotel staff's assistance, ingeniously arranged a private dinner on the El Olivo restaurant patio as an impromptu, yet equally romantic, setting. Morgan, thoroughly surprised and delighted, immediately said yes.

With a two-year engagement, Morgan, a content creator specializing in hosting, had ample time to conceptualize their wedding, even before the official proposal. She recalls sketching out the entire wedding weekend, including vendor and venue ideas, at 3 a.m. one night in 2023, selecting Finca Comassema as their ideal location. This foresight led them to engage Mallorca-based planners, Mille Papillons, even before Jezzel's proposal. Their vision grew from an intimate affair to a grand celebration, prioritizing meaningful details over strict adherence to tradition. This extended to their wedding attire; the couple broke norms by shopping for their gowns together, making eight salon visits over two weeks. Jezzel chose Danielle Frankel's Alexandra dress, an organza gown adorned with hand-painted florals and baroque pearls, while Morgan selected Vivienne Westwood's Ada Cape gown, featuring structural draping and lace. For their welcome party at El Olivo, Morgan wore Danielle Frankel's Scarlett dress and Jezzel donned the Sasha dress. To honor local culture, they wore Cortana dresses by a Mallorcan designer for their getting-ready moments. Their bridal party of 12 bridesmaids wore various green dresses, harmonizing with the wedding's accent color.

The weekend commenced with a boat party in Palma, featuring a DJ, paella lunch, and an all-white dress code, setting a festive tone. The welcome party at El Olivo included Jezzel recounting their proposal, heartfelt speeches from bridesmaids, and flamenco music at sunset, with guests receiving custom portraits by Malen Company. The ceremony itself took place in Finca Comassema's cobblestone courtyard, overlooking the Tramuntana Mountains. Officiated by their friend Adrienne Finch, the brides walked down the aisle to "To Build a Home" by The Cinematic Orchestra, following a string instrumental of Ariana Grande's "POV." Both expressed profound joy and comfort in exchanging vows before their loved ones. After a private moment, they joined their guests for cocktail hour, celebrated by their favorite band playing "Worth It." The dinner reception was a highlight, with guests seated at a custom semi-circle table around a fountain. Each guest found a personalized letter and custom menu by Malen Company at their seat. The fabric-enclosed dining area was transformed by projections of the couple's memories and Mallorca's landscapes by visual artist Alona Vinc. The celebration continued with the revelation of their new shared last name, "Viray," to the surprise and delight of guests and Jezzel herself, followed by an energetic performance of "Pink Pony Club." After an outfit change and cake cutting, the party moved to "The Viray Lounge," a red-themed nightclub where a DJ and saxophonist kept guests dancing until 2:30 a.m. The festivities concluded with a recovery pool party at La Farm, where guests enjoyed drinks, games, and even permanent tattoos by artist Selena, including an 'M' for Morgan in Jezzel's handwriting. The couple extended their celebrations with a buddymoon in the French Riviera and a honeymoon through Provence and Sicily, reflecting on how their queer identity allowed them to create a truly unique and personal wedding experience.
