Kia's latest iteration of the Telluride, the 2027 model, is generating significant interest with its updated design and enhanced features. This redesigned three-row SUV features a more robust appearance and an elevated interior ambiance. Under the hood, the traditional V6 engine has been replaced by a potent 274-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, promising an engaging driving experience.

For individuals considering leasing over outright purchase, Kia has introduced competitive lease programs for August. These offers present an opportunity to drive a new Telluride without the long-term commitment of ownership. Prospective lessees can anticipate monthly payments starting at an appealing rate, though a substantial upfront payment is still required. The 2027 Telluride S front-wheel-drive model is available for $429 per month over a 36-month period, while the all-wheel-drive variant is offered at $449 per month for the same duration. Both options necessitate an initial payment of $3,999 and are subject to credit approval. These lease prices encompass the first month's payment, a capitalized cost reduction, and a $650 acquisition fee. Additional costs for taxes, title, licensing, registration, and dealer fees are separate. Furthermore, an excess mileage charge of $0.20 per mile applies for any usage beyond the 10,000-mile annual limit. Interested customers should note that these promotional rates are valid until August 31, 2026, and availability may vary based on dealership participation and individual credit qualifications.

The 2027 Telluride's pricing commences at $40,735, with the premium SX-Prestige X-Pro trim reaching up to $58,335. Buyers can select between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The X-Pro trim is specifically engineered for enhanced off-road capabilities, catering to adventurous drivers. Performance-wise, the X-Line SX Prestige accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds, with the X-Pro model trailing slightly at 7.5 seconds. Towing capacity is robust, allowing for up to 5,000 pounds, which increases to 5,500 pounds with the SX-Prestige X-Pro. The interior boasts a large 12.3-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and wireless charging. For added comfort and luxury, second-row captain's chairs are an available option. The vehicle offers practical cargo solutions, providing 22 cubic feet of space behind the third row, expanding to an expansive 87 cubic feet when all rear seats are folded down.

The 2027 Kia Telluride continues to distinguish itself as a compelling choice in the competitive three-row SUV segment, standing alongside rivals such as the Hyundai Palisade, Toyota Grand Highlander, and Honda Pilot. Its second-generation refresh brings a contemporary aesthetic and an upgraded cabin, all while maintaining its popular flexible three-row seating arrangement. For those not prepared to commit to a purchase, the lease program offers a convenient entry point. The minimal price difference between the front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive lease options makes the latter an attractive proposition for consumers prioritizing enhanced traction and versatility.
