Meanwhile, Paige holds positions as a professor at Pratt and a technical director for Linked By Air, a design and technology studio based in Brooklyn. Oldham notes, "We both work from home quite a bit." The peaceful, natural environment away from the clamor of urban centers prompted the couple to consider marriage. This past summer, Oldham felt an undeniable urge to propose. He began seriously contemplating the idea at the start of the year, influenced by turning 30, purchasing a home, and the current political climate. Last month, Oldham proposed to Paige during a hike at Solstice Canyon in Los Angeles, the city where their paths first crossed. Oldham found the location particularly fitting, as during the COVID-19 lockdown, trips to the Malibu beach were one of their few permissible activities. He asked for Paige's hand in marriage at the summit of the mountain, and they spent the remainder of the day relaxing by the beach. Oldham fondly describes it as a "perfect day."
