The center console now features a cover that ingeniously folds open to create a flat, practical workspace, while the cupholders can be freely adjusted and repositioned within the console to suit individual needs. Additionally, two magnetic wireless charging pads are integrated, designed to securely hold smartphones at an optimal viewing angle. For the first time, a panoramic sunroof is available, coming standard on the Denali, Denali Ultimate, and AT4X trims, and offered as an option for the AT4 and Elevation models. The range-topping AT4X and Denali Ultimate models boast a new 16-speaker audio system, complete with speakers ingeniously embedded within the headrests. The Denali Ultimate further elevates its luxury with open-pore birch wood trim, a GMC exclusive. The AT4X variant for 2027 also benefits from more contoured front seats, a distinctive flat-bottom steering wheel, and sleek metal speaker grilles, all contributing to a more refined and engaging driving experience.

Despite the pronounced emphasis on advanced digital interfaces, GMC has consciously preserved the presence of physical controls. Therese Pinazzo, the lead interior designer, affirmed this decision, stating, "We know our customers value tangible controls," and added, "They desire a tactile connection with their truck." This approach ensures that while the Sierra embraces modernity, it does not compromise on the intuitive usability and traditional feel that many drivers appreciate. The 2027 Sierra is slated for release later this year, with GMC planning to unveil additional specifications, including detailed features and pricing, in the interim period leading up to its launch.
