Ferrari has launched a specialized Handling Speciale package for its Purosangue model, a vehicle the automaker refers to as an "FUV," or "Ferrari Utility Vehicle." This new offering is designed to further refine the Purosangue's already acclaimed dynamic capabilities, striking a balance between enhanced sportiness and the luxurious grand touring characteristics it is known for.
The Handling Speciale configuration incorporates several technical advancements aimed at boosting the Purosangue's responsiveness. Engineers at Ferrari have meticulously recalibrated the active suspension system, resulting in a notable 10 percent reduction in body movements. Furthermore, the gear shifting mechanism has been optimized for quicker transitions, particularly when operating in the vehicle's "Manettino," "Race," and "ESC Off" modes, and at engine speeds above 5,500 rpm in full manual mode. These improvements contribute to a more engaging driving experience, complemented by an enhanced interior engine sound.
Visually, the Handling Speciale package introduces distinct design elements that set it apart. The Purosangue will feature exclusive diamond-cut wheels, sleek carbon fiber side shields, and sophisticated matte black exhaust tips. Subtle branding updates include a black Prancing Horse emblem at the rear and a satin-finished Ferrari script.
