Unlocking Your Ship's Full Potential: A Memory Chip Treasure Hunt

The Significance of Memory Chips in Beast of Reincarnation

Memory chips are vital collectibles within the game, resembling green mechanical skulls. They are one of three types of items crucial for progression. Delivering these chips to Kagura via Emma at the cleanse walker significantly boosts the "Bauera's Knowledge" attribute. This attribute enhancement is key to unlocking critical upgrades for your ship's features and armaments, including bows, crossbows, and various ammunition types. Remember to visit the cleanse walker regularly to offload chips and free up inventory space.

Ogouchi Buffer Zone: Initial Memory Chip Discoveries

The Ogouchi Buffer Zone contains six memory chips. While some are encountered during the primary storyline, a thorough exploration of the area is necessary to locate all of them. Notable locations include a strongbox guarded by an elite enemy on the western side of the map, near a rusted golem northeast of the Quarry Path camp, within the Quarry near the same camp, inside the tallest building in Subcity 01, and at the entrance of a cave in Tailwater Village on the eastern side.

Ancient Civilization Zone: Integrating Chips into Your Journey

Similar to the previous region, the Ancient Civilization Zone offers six memory chips. Many of these are conveniently located near key areas visited during the main quest, reducing the need for extensive detours. Players can find chips after activating Koo's "Detect Hidden Item" skill near a golem, beside a corpse southeast of the Raging River camp, from a rusted golem near an elevator exit, and within a strongbox close to the power supply south of the Shopping Mall camp.

The Great Wall Terraces: Advancing Ship Upgrades

Six additional memory chips can be found in the Great Wall Terraces zone, contributing further to your ship's knowledge level. These are scattered across locations such as the east side of the Rusted Bridge, near a rusted golem by the Great Fores Clearing: Approach camp, inside a house north of the Ruined Road Square camp, and within a container near the Flower Field Tower camp.

Pilgrim's Zone: Expanding Your Search Beyond the Main Path

In the Pilgrim's Zone, several memory chips require exploration beyond the immediate main quest areas. Key spots include a locked strongbox in a cave tent while searching for the bell, an iron box within a house in the same cave, on the body of a rusted golem at the Stone Chamber's entrance, inside a strongbox within a house on the western wall accessed via rock platforms, and within a strongbox guarded by golems in the bell room.

Matsukawa: Nearing Max Knowledge Attainment

Collecting chips in the Matsukawa region will bring you close to maximizing the Bauera's Knowledge attribute. Discoveries include an iron box on a platform west of a tall building northeast of the Ruins Approach camp, from a rusted golem atop a building en route to Matsukawa Colony, inside a strongbox in a container northwest of the Cave Entrance camp, and within a strongbox near the Ruins: Outskirts camp.

Fuji Frontier Zone: Reaching Peak Knowledge

By the time you reach the Fuji Frontier Zone, consistent chip collection will likely have maxed out your Knowledge level. Nevertheless, several chips are available here: inside a strongbox on an upper platform near the Collapsed Pipes: Approach camp, behind a large statue near the Defense Outpost: Interior camp, alongside rusted golem remains southwest of the Defense Outpost: Interior camp, and in front of a large rusted golem surrounded by enemy orbs in the final arena.

Giant Tree Zone: Concluding Your Collection

The Giant Tree zone, though brief, offers two memory chips that appear later in the chapter. These can be found near a rusted golem at the station after taking the Line 2 tram to the second Nushi's lair.

Crater Zone: Acquiring Amber and Final Chips

The Crater Zone contains one valuable memory chip. Even if your Knowledge level is maximized, collecting this chip will yield amber, a useful resource. This chip is located north of the cleanse walker, beside a large golem.

Inukami River Zone: Last Opportunities for Collectibles

The Inukami River Zone is one of the final areas to explore and provides the last significant opportunities to gather memory chips. Locations include an iron box near the cleanse walker, a strongbox near a golem in the tram area encountered during the main quest, a strongbox west of the final tram area, and another strongbox on the northern side of the map.

The Capital: Final Discoveries

In the game's concluding zone, The Capital, ensure you collect the two remaining memory chips. While they will convert to amber if your Knowledge is maxed, they are still worth acquiring. These chips can be found from the remains of a rusted golem near the first objective and inside a strongbox west of the Urban Area: Ingress camp.
