Szamałek revealed that the studio is actively searching for a lead writer to collaborate with him and the existing narrative team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with crafting the upcoming chapters of the 'Dawnwalker' universe. The role demands exceptional writing skills, a proven track record of excellence, and significant experience in team management within the video game industry.

High Expectations and Extensive Experience Required for the Role

The job description for the lead writer position details a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including the creation of in-game documents, dialogue, and close collaboration with the narrative director and other team leads. Crucially, candidates are expected to possess a minimum of six years of experience as a writer or narrative designer in the video game industry, coupled with a history of remarkable achievements.

While Rebel Wolves may be a relatively new studio with only one game to its name, its foundation is incredibly strong. The company was established by seasoned professionals from CD Projekt, with Jakub Szamałek himself having served as a principal writer for major titles such as 'Cyberpunk 2077,' 'Thronebreaker,' and the standalone release of 'Gwent.' His prior contributions also include writing credits for 'The Witcher 3' and its expansions.
