This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough for completing the "A Path Not Yours" mission in Arc Raiders. Players must successfully navigate several objectives on Blue Gate within a single round, including locating ancient trails and a hidden sanctuary, and retrieving a specific artifact. An optional side objective involves uncovering a secret stash, which may require specific traversal tools.

To successfully complete "A Path Not Yours" in Arc Raiders, players must follow a series of steps that encompass exploration and item retrieval. The mission is initiated by the Nomadic Envoy and is entirely contained within the Blue Gate area. Key objectives include tracing the path of nomadic wanderers, uncovering the legendary Bilguun's concealed refuge, and ultimately finding a significant gift he left behind. Additionally, there's an intriguing optional task to discover a secret compartment within Bilguun's hideout, which adventurers may find easier to access with specialized equipment like a zipline or grappling hook. The entire quest must be finished during one game session, making efficient navigation and strategic item usage crucial for success. Completing this quest not only advances the storyline but also rewards players with valuable in-game resources.

Locating the Nomad Trail's Origin and Bilguun's Refuge

The quest begins by identifying the starting point of the ancient nomad trail, situated beneath the Highway Collapse on Blue Gate. Following this initial discovery, players must then track a series of markers that lead to Bilguun's hidden encampment, a critical step in progressing through the mission. This section will detail the precise coordinates and landmarks necessary to pinpoint both the trail's inception and the clandestine hideout.

The initial phase of the "A Path Not Yours" quest involves finding the beginning of the nomad trail. Players should travel to the southwest region of Blue Gate, specifically to the area known as the Highway Collapse, located directly west of Olive Grove. Positioned just north of the word "Collapse" on the in-game map, slightly beyond the highway's overhead cover, a small yellow cairn marks the trail's commencement. Interacting with this stone pile completes the first objective. Subsequently, players must advance towards the nomad hideout. While the natural inclination might be to diligently follow every trail marker, the mission design allows for a more direct approach: simply reaching the hideout's location completes this segment. To do so, proceed westward, aligning with the highway's supporting pillars, until the objective is fulfilled near the section of the road that has been destroyed. This streamlined method ensures efficient progression through the early stages of the quest.

Retrieving Bilguun's Legacy and Discovering the Secret Stash

Once at the hideout, players must locate Bilguun's gift, an essential item for the quest's completion. This segment also covers the optional challenge of uncovering Bilguun's secret stash, which offers additional rewards and a playful surprise. Instructions for reaching these specific locations and overcoming any access challenges will be provided, ensuring all aspects of the quest are addressed.

Upon reaching Bilguun's hideout, a familiar location for those who completed the "Keeping An Eye Out" quest, players will find it nestled within the underbelly of the highway in the map's southwest corner. Accessing this elevated area can be achieved by using a grappling hook from the highway's summit to descend or by utilizing an existing zipline. Riding the zipline from the ground, players can dismount just before reaching the top to climb into the hideout. This method is primarily useful for those aiming to complete the optional objective of discovering Bilguun's secret stash. Inside, a bag marked as the "secret stash" awaits, but looting it reveals a humorous prank, triggering firecrackers. For the main quest objective, players need to exit the hideout and descend to the base of the supporting pillar. Here, a prompt to dig up a buried cache will appear. Interacting with it unearths a broken compass, which should be secured in a safe pocket if space permits. Finally, returning to Speranza and presenting the broken compass to the Nomadic Envoy concludes the quest, earning players 2,500 XP, a tillurion, two magnets, two batteries, and two power cables as a reward.
