Embark on an Underwater Journey: Your Guide to Bubbly Basin in Pokémon Pokopia

Unlocking the Aquatic Adventure: Essential Steps to Begin the Bubbly Basin DLC

The Bubbly Basin DLC introduces a vibrant new underwater region to Pokémon Pokopia, where players can collaborate with Ditto to cultivate another thriving Pokémon community. Following your success in revitalizing the Withered Wasteland by bringing rain, your next mission involves aiding the aquatic Pokémon. Before Ditto can commence their restorative work, several crucial steps must be completed to access this new zone.

Prerequisites for Entry: What You Need Before Diving into Bubbly Basin

To access the Bubbly Basin, players must first acquire the paid DLC. However, several accompanying features are also part of the free 2.0.0 update. Beyond ownership, specific in-game conditions must be fulfilled. You need to unlock the Bleak Beach area, reconstruct its Pokémon Center, and acquire the Surf ability from Lapras. Furthermore, the environmental level in Bleak Beach must reach level five, and you must learn the Dive move. Importantly, fulfilling these in-game requirements does not necessitate prior purchase of the Bubbly Basin DLC.

Initiating the Expedition: Meeting Popplio and Locating the Gateway

Once all prerequisites are met, including learning Surf and Dive, your next step is to journey to the underwater city. Head to the Pokémon Center in Bleak Beach. There, you will encounter Popplio, who will extend an invitation for your assistance in their city. With Popplio accompanying you, proceed to the Bubbly Basin gate, situated underwater on the western side of the Bleak Beach map. Failure to have learned the Dive move with Manaphy will prevent you from reaching this critical entry point.
